Here’s an announcement from the Office of International Affairs, KAU.
Each and every international student at KAU should acknowledge the following announcement, and begin your academic life for Spring-2020 semester accordingly.
1.As of today (Feb. 27), KAU’s Spring-2020 semester begins on March 16 (Monday). With the delay of the first day of semester, you can add and drop your registered courses until March 27 (Friday). Please consult with your School/Department Office and/or the Office of International Affairs.
2.Without any specific excuse, KAU’s international students do not physically come to the campus until March 12 (Thursday). This is the enforcement measure for the safety and health of all the KAU family, including the international students at KAU. We always care for your safety.
3.As of today (Feb. 27), the Orientation for the new students is scheduled for March 13. However, this schedule can be delayed or cancelled, according to the current situation. Please check the following announcements frequently.
4.International students are supposed to get a physical check-up (incl. temperature) by our medical expert (e.g. a nurse) on the first day you enter the campus area. The place for the medical check-up will be announced in the following email.
5.All the schedules listed above are subject to change. Please check frequently on your email, text message, and announcement post to be sent from the University.
